Today rounded off the sunny, relaxing weekend with a day out. This morning Sean and I went to McDonalds for breakfast because the dining hall was opening after we left for the baseball. After our gourmet start to the day we ensured that we had everything prepared and then went over to the CAC to wait for the bus.
We left campus and arrived at the Orioles stadium in Baltimore in plenty of time for the game start at 1:00pm. At the third inning we went to get some food. Keeping up with our healthy day, we had jumbo hot dogs and beer to keep ourselves going. The game wore on with some great catches and a home run to boost the crowd.
By the seventh inning Sean and I were in the mood for a snack so, having still never tried it in the states, we made for the funnel cake vendor. Lots of queuing later, we arrived back in our seats for the last inning.
Catching the bus back, we arrived at campus at 7:00pm, myself nicely sun burned having not learned after twenty-one years to wear sun cream in hot weather. But, a cold shower later and I feel more comfortable. This evening I went to mondo's again, having arrived back too late for the dining hall and sat down to a couple of episodes of 'Suits'.
