Fight Night...

This morning I wrote the second film essay of the semester in the morning before class. Afterwards I walked down to Walgreens to get some things with Lenka before returning for an earlier dinner. But, enough about myself (cue some kind of moving soundtrack), today was really about a young man who had nothing but skill and a dream . A young man who wanted more than anything to fight and to win. That young man was none other than Australia's finest, Wilson Hill.

The MMA boxing competition started a 7:00pm, but we got there early in order to get good seats, which it turned out was a good move because there was a healthy turnout. Our support was naturally thrown into Will's corner and he did great, getting to the final which was eventually decided as a draw - a decision that we contest considering that Will broke the other guy's nose. Anyway, it was a really good, albeit tense evening. Afterwards, we went to Chester for a short while, then KC and onto O'Connor's for a victory drink and an unwind.
